"Musicians Federation Presents Annual Scholarship Award"

Recently the American Federation of Musicians, Local 140, in conjunction wit the Music Performance Fund, presented its annual Scholarship Award to George L. Levandowski. This scholarship is sponsored by the Music Performance Fund and Local 140 to aid young musicians who show exceptional promise in furthering their education, and is awarded to the recipient nominated by the local chapter of the American Federation of Musicians, only after stringent requirements are met by the candidate. Levandowski is a graduate of GAR Memorial High School and is a student at Rowan University, where he is a music education major and a dean’s list student.
